Elizabeth Pennock, PhD, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor who has developed a speciality in working with children, teens, & adults who have experienced various kinds of trauma, abuse, and neglect. She has completed in-depth study in the area of complex trauma and attachment and frequently gives presentations on these topics.

Dr. Pennock uses a variety of approaches to trauma-treatment, depending on the client’s age, trauma history, and the therapeutic setting. She works from a person-centered, relational framework and enjoys incorporating creative, experiential, and narrative interventions, as well as body-oriented therapies, in her work with clients.

Much of Dr. Pennock’s scholarly work is focused around preparing new counselors in the area of trauma treatment.
